John Michael Radziwill wins the Greek Shipping Newsmaker Award

We are proud to announce that GoodBulk’s Chairman & CEO John Michael Radziwill has been awarded this year’s “Greek Shipping Newsmaker of the Year Award“, at the 2017 Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards. The ceremony was held at the Athenaeum InterContinental in Athens on Friday the 24th of November. The award was collected by Carlos Pena from C Transport Maritime S.A.M on Mr. Radziwill’s behalf. The award was presented by Mr. Iain White, Global Marine Marketing Manager of ExxonMobil who sponsored this year’s award.

The below is from Lloyd’s List on why the decision was made to give this year’s award to John Michael Radziwill.

Mr Radziwill was Lloyd’s List’s clear choice as Newsmaker of the Year for launching his new company GoodBulk Ltd. on the Norwegian over-the-counter market last December and for its subsequent expansion. The company is already up to 19 vessels including 17 capes. The latest of these are seven capesizes acquired from CarVal Investors and GoodBulk Ltd. Mr Radziwill, a grandson of John M. Carras, has also emerged as a key player in dry bulk pools via CTM Monaco
